This application does not imply the issue of a permit. You must not commence burning until your application has been reviewed and you have received a copy of the burning permit.
You must notify Council of ignition time/dates and have your nominated responsible person onsite throughout your burn period.
No burning is permitted on Public Holidays, Sundays, Days of Fire Bans or other days as decided by Authorised Officer.
This permit is liable to be revoked if the permit holder fails to comply with a condition of the permit. This permit may also be revoked in any other justifiable circumstance. The fact that the holder of this permit has complied with the conditions of the permit does not of itself relieve the holder from liability for any loss or damage caused by a fire lit under the authority of the permit. (Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2005, section 81 (13). Police and Authorised Officers have the power to direct a person to refrain from carrying out any burning activity regardless of permit status.
